Campus Sustainability

Many initiatives for sustainability

Campus wide, there are many initiatives for sustainability worth noting. A comprehensive website highlighting major sustainability initiatives at Cal Poly was launched in the spring of 2010. It is accessible through the Administration and Finance Department.

For those interested in obtaining a minor in Sustainable Agriculture, be sure to check out details on required courses on the Center’s Sustainable Ag Minor page. Students wishing to become involved in a wide range of extra-curricular activities pertaining to sustainability should inquire about current campus events through ASI Clubs such as Empower Poly, Net Impact, Real Food Collaborative, Poly Permaculture, Fair Trade Club,
Poly Ponics, and Biomimicry Club.

For a wonderful overview of the land and natural resources embodied in Cal Poly's 10,000+ acre campus, visit the Cal Poly Land website.
